The zombies don’t really give more experience than normal enemies, and their passive nature actually causes you to level slower when compared to enemies that will attack you and die from counter attacks. Band of Bandagesīand of Bandages is a map filled with zombies who do nothing but run away, allowing you to easily grind them for experience. If you are the type of player who enjoys molding characters into perfect killing machines, then I’d say it’s worth a purchase. These are necessary to get the most out of your villagers. The Astral Temple’s greatest reward is Star Shards, which increase your growth rates. That being said, it’s rather expensive for what it gives you and you can easily make it to mid-game without any of the bonuses it grants. The enemies give you a decent chance to grind, and the items found in the dungeon do a good job of outfitting your army in the early game. Of all the maps in DLC Pack 1, this is probably the best. The Astral Temple is a small extra dungeon consisting of rooms filled with low to mid-level enemies, and decent mid-game items. The power of the items given (notably the boots and the villager’s fork items) is too great to pass up.
